- Servers (8 total) – Debian 12.7
There will be eight servers, each assigned a specific role:
- Six internal servers (within the secure network):
- Three main (real) servers: manage the project’s data and applications.
- Three backup servers: ensure data protection and recovery in case of failure.
- Two servers in the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone):
- One real server: will handle public services such as the website or online forms.
- One backup server: will maintain a backup of the real DMZ server.
- Test Clients (3 total) – Debian 12.7
Three clients running Debian 12.7 will be used to perform tests in different scenarios:
- Two clients inside the internal network, to simulate access from the work network.
- One client in the public network, to simulate an external user accessing services, verifying security and accessibility from outside the corporate network.
- Router – Debian 12.7
Only one router will be used, as four VLANs will be configured for the networks.
